HYPERCLEAR™ ESD filter media is an advanced Energy Stultification Discharge (ESD) filter technology designed to remove bacteria, algae, fungi, hydrogen-sulfide, iron, and water soluble heavy metals.
HYPERCLEAR™ ESD filters are used in many pretreatment, primary water treatment, and industrial treatment processes. They help extend the life of HYPERCLEAR™ GAC filters while protecting the carbon from bacteria fouling and damge from heavy metals.
HYPERCLEAR™ ESD filter media is certified by NSF to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for Drinking Water Treatment Units and is also in compliance with California’s Health and Safety Code Section 166875 (or commonly know as AB1953) and Vermont Act 193.
